Getting Started (please read)...
Wanted to take a minute and encourage you to put this community to work for you.
Here are some things that you can do to get started;
- take some time and start reading some member profiles (look for people you already know and add them as friends)
- leave a comment on member profiles that you wish to start a conversation with
- you can send them email via the system - you'll see the 'send a message' link below their picture
- you can invite people you think can benefit from and bring benefit to the community via the 'Invite' link on the main menu (please do not do any bulk inviting - I understand that the tools are available to do this, however, I do not want us ever to be considered spamming and desire us to grow organically).
Once you log in you will see your name, an envelop icon and a person icon in the upper left hand corner.
The envelope icon is where you can send and receive email from community members.
The person icon will show 'new' when someone is trying to connect with you.
Simply click on these icons.
If you know of a 'Group' topic that is not yet represented in the community and you have time to be the organizer please feel free to start the Group.
If you have or know of 'Events' that members of this community can benefit from please feel free to post them. (if they are determined to not be propertly targeted - they might be removed).
Interested in starting a 'Forum' topic, asking a question or starting a discussion conversation please feel free.
The goal is to make this our community and in time when we have a couple 100 local small business owners and professionals it will better reflect that goal.
Now go make some Friends and Connections. ;-)
